3. Safari Booking Terms

a. Booking Process

• Booking a safari through our platform initiates a transaction between you (the traveler) and the tour provider (our partner).
• We act as a facilitator and not the direct tour operator unless explicitly stated.

b. Confirmation

• Once your booking is submitted and payment is confirmed, you will receive an official confirmation via email.
• Availability is not guaranteed until you receive this confirmation.

c. Pricing

• All prices are displayed in your local currency where possible and include applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
• Optional extras, such as private guides or luxury lodge upgrades, are shown separately before checkout.

4. Payment and Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through trusted gateways like PayPal or Stripe.
• Full or partial payments may be required at the time of booking, depending on the provider’s terms.
• Each tour listing includes its own refund and cancellation policy, which you are encouraged to read carefully before completing payment.

Standard refund guidelines:

• 30+ days before departure: Full or partial refund (minus processing fees)
• 15–29 days: Partial refund
• Less than 14 days: No refund unless stated otherwise

5. Changes and Cancellations

• Changes to booking dates, guest details, or services are subject to availability and provider approval.
• If a provider cancels a trip due to weather, minimum group size, or other unforeseen reasons, you will receive a full refund or offered a rebooking alternative.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, delays, and personal belongings.

VisitAfricaToday.com is not responsible for costs incurred due to lack of insurance.

7. Traveler Responsibilities

By booking a trip, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and honest information during inquiries and bookings.
• Follow local laws, park rules, and instructions from guides during the safari.
• Ensure that all travelers in your group meet the health and visa requirements of the destination.

8. Our Role and Limitation of Liability

b. Limitation of Liability

We do, however, vet our partners carefully and will assist in dispute resolution wherever possible.
